The file 'FEzero_Client.exe' has been determined to be 'FALSE POSITIVE'. In particular this means that this file is not malicious but a false alarm. Detection will be removed from our virus definition file (VDF) with one of the next updates.
I've paid enough for 3 pc's, a router and all the softwares that have gone in them. Through trial and a lot of error, I've discovered some things are best paid for. But the a/v-licenses that I've paid for have long since expired, and the $$$ I have to spend on s/w is going towards other layers of security (for now). When an a/v-license is in the cards, Avira will be getting my $$$ . Hopefully xmas will come early this year
Never mind. No need for me to say anything. I don't use Avira anymore, and I have no plans to do so in the future. (Avira
Classic is Classic. Premium is Premium. " As commonly birds of a feather will flye together ".
Pardon me for intruding here, but could it be that the free version of this software is put on slow servers in order to get the customers to upgrade to the one on the fast server? -sorry, just a hunch. I think there is a difference between "slow but working" and "not working at all" (ClassicとPremiumってサーバーに差があるのか?。
In other words, they are doing this on purpose?
Why not stop being a tightwad and buy Kaspersky or NOD32 instead?
Especially since Amazon.com is now offering Kaspersky v 6 for free after a $50 rebate with free shipping, and you can update to v 7 through the Kaspersky website.
I've been using Antivir Premium (via a 6 month trial that was offered a few months ago). The only problems I've experienced is that the program will sometimes hang when scanning large email db files, and subsequently create several gig of temp files in my documents and settings directory.
RejZoR, why did you sour on Avast? It's still my favorite AV program, with it's ability to configure several shields. Considering that you wrote that excellent Avast External Control utility (that I would occasionally use when I didn't want to go through the many Avast menus), I'm surprised you stopped using Avast.
I really appreciated Avast's bootscan feature, too. What has made me apprehensive is the AV-Comparatives review of it.
